High-level events at the Hamburg Sustainability Conference

During the Hamburg Sustainability Conference (HSC) on June 2, 2025, Friends of the Global Fund Europe convened two strategically timed high-level events to advance the Global Fund’s visibility and political relevance ahead of key budget moments in the German policy calendar. In the afternoon, a private sector roundtable highlighted the value of public-private partnerships in global health, featuring senior leaders from the German and UK governments, the Global Fund, and industry.

The discussions demonstrated how collaborative platforms can accelerate access to innovation, reinforce health systems, and deliver long-term impact.

As we look ahead to The Global Fund’s 8th Replenishment, the event highlighted the vital role of governments, the private sector, and civil society in protecting hard-won gains in the fight against HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, and building resilience against future health threats.
